This is the first time I've played around with effects. Here I use the black and white option and pulled out the color until the pink center of the flower (the stamens?) was just about to disappear. So the image is almost B&W but not completely.
It's gorgeous! You should frame this one!
This is a gorgeous picture. I love it!! The Peony is my favorite flower!!
It's fabulous! You did a great job with the effects. Beautiful.
Gorgeous! Love the almost translucence of the petals on the edge.
That is stunning!! Love it!! :-)
Beautiful in its simplicity.
Nice fade effect. It really makes the peony stand out.
It's beautiful!
I played too. Mine are here and here.
So lovely! Was thrilled to have our first peony open yesterday. Love the photo technique, it has a very ethereal effect.

This is a breath taking image. Thank-you so much for sharing it with me and your other readers.
It looks so delicate. Nice!
Peonies are my favorite flowers! You really captured the gorgeous ruffles of the petals.
Love the effects, stunning capture!
Very pretty! I'm looking forward to planting some peonies in my yard at some point -- just love them!
Very pretty! I'll never get tired of photographing flowers.
Lets try that again (got an error message the first time).
Gorgeous photo. We have dark pink peonies but now I think I want to get a white one for another spot in the garden.
Very beautiful! :)
Wow, what a wonderful picture!
Gorgeous! I love peonies, but would never have them in my yard. The ants they tend to get when they're buds creep me out.
What a fantastic picture!
I love the desaturated colors on this one. Good result on the "first effect"!
(Sorry I'm late, but my internet connection died yesterday.)

Oh it's simply beautiful! I wish that I had discovered peonies earlier in life--would have made for a gorgeous wedding flower!
How striking and beautiful. Love this photo.
Just a beautiful shot!
Such delicate stuff!
Sorry for the late visit.
