This was taken in Bethesda, Maryland. I loved both the tiles and the fence.

I do love that fence. they make a great contrast.

the fence adds a nice touch to the tiles.

I love it when cities make an effort to beautify like that. It would be a pleasure to walk past that wall.

Pretty tile and I love the lines in the capture, very pretty shot.

This is very nice - we have some efforts underway to "artify" Houston as well, but as always there is some debate over whether it is "art" (which is legal and welcome) or "graffiti" (which is illegal, and can subject the VICTIM to a citation and fine.)

No question about this, though - those tiles are beautiful!

Happy WW!

Oh, this is beautiful, and I love the way you framed the tiles with the bars. You've got a great eye, Candace!

Very nice overlay of interest, and you captured it perfectly!

That's very pretty. Public art really beautifies the city and I'm happy to see that more of them are encouraging it.

What a lovely combination. I agree with Kathy, I love when cities make an effort with little touches of beauty.

Lovely -- and what a cheerful thing to see while walking down the street! (And yay for Maryland!)

I like the way one pattern is superimposed upon the other.

I like the clean simple lines of the fence and mosaic. They line up well.

Lovely tiles. I'm a big fan of street art.

Thanks for mentioning that you saw my portrait as a bit of a period piece - that's exactly the look I was going for :).

Nice! Much better than the cheesy ocean murals we have here.
