That's so pretty. I've never seen Queen Anne's Lace in real life. I don't know that it grows in Colorado.
Lovely!
Beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen one before.
Nice one. I would have never guessed that was Queen Anne's Lace. I see the plants all the time but they just blend into the autumn background. The macro shot really pulls out the detail in the seeds.
Past its prime, yet beautiful.
I love it! Great shot.
That's interesting - when I first saw it, I thought it was a Christmas ornament!
Happy WW!

What a lovely capture.
I'm like Ed, I thought it was a decoration because it's ball shaped. Great photo!
Gorgeous!
Nice macro.
this is a side of QAL I've never seen before .. I like it ..
How beautifully you captured the end of the "Queen's" reign!
Well it is a great photo..
but it reminds me of a giant nest of spiders.
maybe that is just me...
Very nice photo! I want a macro lens from Santa this year ... and a telephoto lens, and a wide angle ... Anyway, great shot as always!
:)
In my yard I thought these were ugly, but in your photo I can see the close-up beauty still remaining. Genius.
It looks like a little flower prison! I love this shot!
It looks like a Christmas tree ornament!
So pretty, so interesting looking. I've only seen it in bloom. I love this shot.
I don't know if I've ever actually noticed Queen Anne's lace in the fall when it's all folded in.
When we lived up north, this stuff was everywhere - in FL none can be found. Interesting shot, I thought it was an ornament at first glance.
Beautiful! And a lovely reminder of fall on this grey wintry afternoon.
My favorite wildflower! Beautiful even when it is dying.
It almost looks like a Christmas ornament!
I am such a sucker for macro photography - this is beautiful!
Nice use of depth of field.

Lovely, and very Christmassy :)
The queen seems to shake her fist at the close of the season.
You've had some great fall photos - showing the beauty of nature and when it has "passed its prime."
Ok so that looks a little creepy. Kind of like some sort of insect that snaps shut on it's prey. Very interesting.
