great post for wordless... Happy WW! Hoping you can visit @ my WW entry/.
So very cool!! It almost looks like colored foil. Wonderfully done.
Terrific shot!! Nice DOF.
Great focus.
It's a great find, and a very detailed photo. it's so interesting to see the seeds and flower at this point. It seems like it's falling into ruin, but it's fulfilling its purpose.
wonderful capture.
I love this -- it's almost scary :)
Great capture. Kind of sad, used to be vibrant.
It is lovely. Kind of a weird odd beauty.
Interesting flower - what is it? Almost looks like some sort of pre-historic man-eater!
Happy WW!

looks like something from outer space. great!

That makes me sad that summer's drawing to an end.
What a great shot!
I am constantly amazed by the artistry of your shots. This picture was beautiful! Thanks for sharing it!
It almost looks like a repitilian eye peeking out when I looked at it closely.
In kind of a beautiful but creepy way, it tells me fall is coming.
This is a great photo. I agree with Jenners - it looks like an eye coming out to me too.Very cool.
It looks like a scary alien plant. Do not touch! :P
Super photo! Love it!
Cool and kind of freaky too.
Great picture, and fun to read all the comments.
I was by early this morning, no time to post, nearly late for work...ha ha. I love photos like this, where something small takes on such an amazing sight.
Looks like the birds got at the seeds.

Ouch that looks a bit too prickly for my taste! Beautiful picture though. :)
