A perfect example of "the beauty of nature".

That is fabulous! Thanks for sharing.

It almost looks like it is underwater. Like some sort of sea coral. I know it's not, but I like it!

Beautiful photo. I suspect this kind of natural spray design is where the old jewelry masters got their inspiration for those huge diamond brooches they crafted.

I love this photo, just amazing. Would you mind if I used it as my computer's wallpaper?

Wow, this is like fireworks!

Stan 1/5/11, 2:05 PM

That is very cool and creative. I like to see photographers go for the unusual in common things.

I love that the texture pops out of the photograph. Crunchy and smooth and soft, surrounded by mystery.

Beautiful shot! So pretty!
Happy WW!

So elegant!

I answered this question on my blog, but yes, they DO still have field days at some schools.:) A good thing, no?

Leslie (Under My Apple Tree) 1/5/11, 3:32 PM

That has a snowflake effect to it. Very different.

I like to leave my plants in the garden over the winter for the birds but I haven't tried photographing them at night. Yet.

Dawn @ sheIsTooFondOfBooks 1/5/11, 4:40 PM

That does look like a star or snowflake - striking!

Peppermint Ph.D. 1/5/11, 4:53 PM

The black background really makes the textures pop...is it a nighttime shot or a lighting effect?

Beautiful - I like the intricate pattern. One can see the fractal-like geometry here.

Michelle 1/6/11, 5:49 AM

My sinuses are twitching just looking at this, LOL!

Gorgeous picture :)

GORGEOUS!

(No, my caps locks aren't broken, that is just how gorgeous I think this picture is).

Zibilee 1/6/11, 2:37 PM

What a lovely picture! Are those the plants that get little stickers caught in your pants leg when you walk through them, or am I mistaken?

chrisa511 1/6/11, 9:42 PM
