Oh is that a part of a train or rails or something? Cool entry for WW! :)
wow! I haven't seen that in person.. but i would love to see one! happy WW!! :)
That is a good close capture. :)
Wow!
I am trying to figure this one out.....
We were at an antique farm machinery show and one of the steam-powered vehicles on display was this tram or trolley car. The wheels are part of the engine, each with with a little pressure-release valve. I loved how even the gears were so nicely painted.
I grew up right across the road from the station of a steam train, but you never get tired of them :)
HAppy WW!
I was just on a steam powered boat and I have been on a steam powered train...but not a steam powered tram. love the detail!
Carl would like this one!
I wonder if this machine was so nicely painted when it was in use. It's true that we like to make the items we use daily aesthetically pleasing, but sometimes it's just too much work. That's why I don't scour the bottoms of my pots and pans!
Nice closeup.
You have a great eye for getting the "part" of a bigger item that is eye catching, interesting and makes a cool composition. Nicely done!
I feel the need to walk around making train noises. Woo-woo!
I enjoy checking out old steam trains...the B&O museum in Baltimore is great for that!

That is one clean piece of machinery, and a fine photo of it! Love the colors as well as the delicate designs on the wheel.
This is beautiful. I was going to guess antique train, too.
I like trains and I definitely like this week's WW. :D
