What's New, What's Coming Up?
I have at least one more BEA post to write up; I'd like to share some of the books I'm especially excited about.
I have also scheduled a couple of guest posts and Literary Road Trip entries. Plus I'm participating in a few book tours.
But most of all, I am looking forward to a relaxing June with lots of great reading ahead.
Talk to Me
Hope your reading month was fabulous. But before you click away, here are two things I'm always curious about:
- What was your favorite book in May?
- Are you caught up with your reviews?

Great month!
I only wish I was caught up on reviews. I am trying hard, but alas, not there.
Favourite book this month, Black Water Rising by Attic Locke.
My favorite adult book of May was a tie between South of Broad and Roses. My fav YA was Marcel In The Real World.
I am caught up on writing my reviews but not on posting them.
I'm not caught up with reviews - I very rarely am.
My favourite book in May is Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel.
I'm never completely caught up on reviews! Ugh. I have two outstanding ones. I think my favorite reads this month (which will be reviewed in June) were Love Walked In and Belong To Me, which are inseparable in my mind. They were a total JOY to behold on audio.
May was kind of a ho-hum month reading-wise. The Queen of Palmyra was favorite read. And I'm not caught up on reviews, but I'm not as behind as I usually am.
It sounds like you had a great reading month, Beth. Mine was about average. I haven't been reading quite as much as I usually do, which is disappointing. I'm trying not to let it get me down though.
I'll be curious to see your thoughts on "The Passage." I want to read it without know much about it!
Good month of reading. I am behind on my reviews but hope to catch up this week. The best book I read in May would probably be The Summer We Read Gatsby by Danielle Ganek.
Looking forward to your review of The Passage. Everyone seems to be reading that one.
You had a great month and you managed to fit in a trip to NYC too. Good for you. My favorite book in May was an old classic - Murder On the Orient Express.
