What's in a Name? 3: Finished
I'm relieved and happy to let you know that I completed one of my own challenges: What's in a Name? 3. Phew.
For those who are interested, it is not too late to sign up for the What's in a Name? 3 challenge. You have until the end of the year to read six books (one in each of six categories).
Here's what I read for the challenge:
Food: Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley
Water: The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan
Title: The Postmistress by Sarah Blake
Plant: Rose by Jeff Smith
Place name: Kingdom of Ohio by Matthew Flaming
Music: Baltimore Blues by Laura Lippmann
I was very lucky in my picks for this challenge, because I loved them all. Four authors were new to me, and I have added two series (Bradley and Lippmann) to my ever-growing list of must-read mysteries.
If you're playing along, I hope you are having fun with the challenge.

Congrats! I am also a participant, but I'm only about a third of the way through (only read two books so far). I find it a fun challenge though and I am looking forward to actually finishing it too :)
PS Thanks for hosting :)
I'm doing well on this one -- one away! I even have the book picked out. Just have to find time to read it.
Hey, way to go! Doesn't it feel good to cross a challenge off the list?
Way to go! I have to read one more book to finish this one, so I'm feeling pretty confident.
Congratulations! Plus you read some very interesting books. Love the categories too. I had to quit playing because I overextended myself. Maybe next year I'll try again, if you do it again.
Congratulations, Beth! Way to go!
Great hjob on finishing your challenge. I have recently bought The Dead-Tossed Waves and have put it near the top of the TBR stack. I did like the first one a lot, although it never became a complete favorite. Looking forward to the second one though. How did you like it?
I'm so proud of you! I am made of fail where challenges are concerned...
Great List. I read Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie but did not think of it for the food one. But I had plenty of food titles!
Congrats. I need to work on finishing this one. And last year I didn't finish my own challenge and felt such shame!
So, what you're saying is the we are supposed to FINISH these challenges? Just kidding. Good for you.
Congrats! You mentioned a few titles that I'll have to check out. I don't know how you do it, all of you book bloggers amaze me.
Congratulations!
I think it is a fantastic challenge, and I am so glad I joined it. I have read four, and five + six are on my TBR so I should not run into trouble.
Congrats! This is one of my favorite challenges and I have finished it also. I am hoping you host it again next year.
*smiles*
Congratulations on finishing already!
I've read 3 of 6 but have a hard time revieweing... Posted about only 1.
Congratulations! :)
I've got 3 books read for the challenge, but didn't do reviews. Plus I changed my mind about reading my "Body of Water" book so I need to find a new one.
Congratulations! I'm still working on this one myself, I have books picked out for all but the music one..that ones seems to be a bit tricky for me.
