BBAW: What Can I Do Now?
It's hard to believe, but Book Blogger Appreciation Week is just around the corner. Nominations have been sent out and interview partners have been hooked up, so you might be thinking there is nothing left to do but wait for the short lists to come out and voting to begin (September 7). Actually, there are a few things you can do now to start to get ready for the week of September 14.
Giveaways
If you are going to have giveaways during the week, now's a good time to start collecting the items you're passing along. You could even write your posts and have them ready.
Interviews
Be sure you get your interview answers to your partner so he or she has plenty of time to format the text and get the post scheduled.
Mr. Linky and Reviews
The BBAW blog now has a Mr. Linky Tutorial. If you are unfamiliar or unsure about how to use Mr. Linky, please go read the post. For people who are good friends with Mr. Linky (and I really don't want to know the details of your relationship), the tutorial is a chance to link up a favorite review, get to know some new blogs, and give others a chance to practice clicking on links, so be sure to participate.
Theme for the Week and Daily Posts
The BBAW crew has posted the theme for the week: Celebrate Books. If you head on over to the blog, you'll find a colorful button and the daily post schedule. There will be a lot to do during the week, so the more posts you can write and schedule ahead, the better off you'll be. There is no rule that says you have to write all five posts, but join in the fun and write as many as you can.

My interview partner and I are still coming up with our questions, but we will have fabulous interviews I am sure of it. :) And I am just so excited for the whole week! I know I won't be able to post everyday during BBAW but I will most days. Working with kids- some days it is just too much to even sit at the computer and think, lol.
I am not doing any giveaways for the week since I am planning a huge giveaway in November for my b-day but I will certainly be happy to spread the word about giveaways for BBAW.

I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row now because we're heading out to Disneyworld that week. I'm planning my giveaways and BBAW posts as much as I can.
