Challenge: What's in a Name? 2
I've joined this challenged for 2009. The challenge is hosted by Debi. For the complete rules and the other participants, click here. The challenge is to read 6 books, one each in the following categories.
- A book with a profession in the title -- Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly (mystery)
- A book with a time of day in the title -- The Dead of the Night by John Marsden (kind of a fantasy)
- A book with a relative in the title -- The Marsh King's Daughter by Elizabeth Chadwick (historical novel)
- A book with a body part in the title -- A Needle in the Right Hand of God by R. Howard Bloch (historical fiction about the Bayeux tapestry)
- A book with a building in the title -- Teahouse Fire by Ellis Avery (historical fiction)
- A book with a medical condition in the title -- In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson (nonfiction; travel)

These challenges become addictive...or they have for me.
J.Kaye: No kidding!!!
I'm glad you joined in on the fun. I, of course, have completely no self control and have joined every challenge that I've come across. I need all the incentive I can get to read 100 books in a year.
Nice list ;0)
This looks like a good one! I have to organize my challenge lists for 2009, as I think I'll be joining you with "what's in a name"
Thanks for visiting our WW post. I saw your Bill Bryson title on this challenge and had to laugh. A Walk In The Woods is one of my favorite books. I have yet to read any of his others. Curious to see how you like this one.
Great list- I'm using In a Sunburned Country for my list as well. :)
