What's in a Name 5: Something You'd See in the Sky

Here's the place to link up your reviews of books with something you'd see in the sky in the title.

If you don't have a blog or don't write reviews, please mark your progress in the comments.

If Mr. Linky ever disappears, just leave a comment or come back and link up later. Or email me (see contact icons in the sidebar) and I'll add your link when Mr. Linky is fixed.

I'm such a nerd! Finished book 3# for the challenge this weekend!
Having a hard time finding something for the "purse" category...

I love this challenge, thank you!

Night Road by Kristin Hannah. Also for a new local book club I joined. I had trouble putting in down in order to get more mundane tasks completed. Would recommend to anyone who has teenagers, will have teenagers, or who already had teenagers.

to Karen White: remember it's something in a pocket, purse or backpack. The "backpack" helped me choose.

Just finished The Sanctuary Sparrow, by Ellis Peters. It's book 8 in the Brother Cadfael mysteries, but I found it stood very well on its own. I've posted a link to my spoiler-free review above.

Posted on 2-7-12, but forgot to add my name. I'm a newbie blogger. :(

I enjoy the challenge so far, thx for hosting it. Moon over Manifest is one of the best books I read this year!

My 'something in the sky' book was WHEN LIGHTNING STRIKES by Meg Cabot - http://dakimel.blogspot.com/2012/02/paranormal-young-adults.html

Fun series!

My linky wants to go to the book I had for land formations. I had written my comments on Clouded Rainbow on the 1st of March and realized that it fits Something in the Sky. I hope people can find it on my blog.

Another great book that would have sat on my TBR shelf longer if not for this challenge and my TBR challenge. :)

I read "mockingjay" by Suzanne Collins to finish this part of the challenge.

I have four of the six done, but had forgotten to post! I read The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins (figuring the "moon" part works.)It's been on my TBR list for ages.

Mirjam 4/23/12, 5:15 AM

Half way there! Just posted my review of Frost Moon by Anthony Francis. :)

Laura Kozy Lanik 4/28/12, 7:17 PM

Book #2 Moon Over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool. Won the Newberry Medal.

Buried In Print 5/8/12, 1:08 PM

This category has filled itself in my reading year so far; I just posted the link to the first book in Mr. Linky, but if others are looking for books that would also fill this category, these would also work:
1. Helen deWitt's Lightning Rods (2011)
2. Roopa Farooki's The Flying Man (2012)
3. Karen Altenberg's Island of Wings (2011)
4. Catherine Asaro's Ascendant Sun (2000)
and
5. Isabel Wilkerson's The Warmth of Other Suns (2010)

Brenda 6/2/12, 6:18 PM

This is a great challenge and the first book challenge I have ever done! This is the fourth category I have filled.

Bibliophile 8/30/12, 5:39 PM

Nice to see I'm not the only one who chose a Brother Cadfael book for this entry. My choice was The Raven in the Foregate.

Carine 12/27/12, 10:57 AM

My fourth book for the challenge (The Cure for Death by Lightning). I doubt I will be able to read all six books though. I'll try again next year!
